Welcome to April Barnt's Alaska wildlife art gallery. April uses her watercolor drybrush technique to obtain the greatest detail in her wildlife paintings and prints. She details every hair, feather, flower and leaf in her magnificent paintings and prints.

April Barnt has her Alaska wildlife art studio on a lake shore near Sterling, Alaska. Her studio window frames a view of volcanic Mt. Spur. April Barnt's love of nature has fueled her career as a wildlife artist.
April Barnt studied portraiture under Elferd Lee and noted wildlife artist James McCllend. Her special love of animals has inspired her creation of these magnificently detailed drybrush water colors.
April Barnt's wildlife art paintings shown here are one of a kind. Her prints are made from her unique Alaska wildlife art paintings. April accepts commissions to paint wildlife art and Clipper ships.
